DIANE KARMEN ON INSTAGRAM

My pal Annie turned me on to her friend Diane Karmen.  Her designs are sleek, earthy, textural, and often black and white. You can follow Diane here on Instagram if you love her look as much as I do.

I don’t know about you but I am all about comfort and cozy this time of year. This hoodie (on sale) from Peruvian Connection is in my cart. How about a little zebra to go with it? What do you think?

CHRISTMAS DINNER RECIPES

We did brunch at 11:00 on Christmas day so we didn’t want to serve an overly heavy dinner. We served Tyler Florence’s Paella and Sarah Foster’s Beet Salad. I think Sarah’s salad with the combination of beets, fennel, and mint is the perfect accompaniment to Paella. I was going to make Mary Ann’s son-in-law’s paella that she featured here (it sounded amazing), but I instead relied on my old standby that I have made many times. Everyone loved it.

You can find Tyler Florence’s Paella recipe here.
