Our dining room dressed in its holiday finery. In the bowl on the table I placed a faux wreath from @parkhillcollection as a base. I added a few extra faux greens around the base and added sugar pine cones and bleached dried artichokes. The chairs are custom made and monogrammed by @cottagebydesign. The table is from @dovetailfurniture.
I like keeping my dining rooom neutral so I can add color with napkins and dinnerware. Do you like a neutral palette in your dining room or do you prefer more color?.

Have you ever seen a bigger poinsettia? I picked this up @loweshomeimprovement and almost had to give it a trim to get it in the door. I am loving it on my twig console in front of the window especially when the light is so beautiful. Pillows by @krinto_com What are you up to this weekend? Here’s a little sneakity peek of what’s to come on the blog tomorrow. I am joining @most_lovely_things @classiccasualhome @kelley_and_co_home and @mysoulfulhome and @crazywonderfulblog for our nature inspired Christmas Tour. I don’t do a decorator tree. My tree is filled with ornaments that have been collected over the years and most of my decor is either nature or faux embellished with natural elements. I did purchase the gorgeous embroidered stockings from my friend Trish from @cottagebydesign. This is not a sponsored post. Trish has monogrammed many items for my home over the years including my dining room chairs that so many of you ask about. 🎄 past when we had a good tree. We had to pitch it in the move after about 15 years. We borrowed our son’s skinny one from his bar. It looks a little funny in our current living room so our tree may not be making an appearance this year. Have you decorated your tree? I think I am finished. Good thing @classiccasualhome @most_lovely_things and moi will be sharing our homes on Thursday with some great bloggers. Tomorrow I am off to babysit and then lunch with my friends on Thursday.
