Readers Favorite Outfits of the Week

Happy Tuesday everyone. I apologize for the late post, I was out of town. I have been inundated with requests on Instagram, Facebook and here on the blog on where to find previous outfits of the week. I will try to do a quick wrap up post, when I can fit them in of the Outfits of the Week. Let’s take a look at the Readers Favorite Outfits of the Week from the previous seven weeks.

Of course, the easiest way to find them is at the top of each blog post under the shop tab. They all reside under the “Shop my Insta link”. Of course you can follow me on the shopltk.com app here as well.

Now, on to bigger and better things. The Outfit of the Week has become so popular that I think of and on about giving it its own day in the sun so to speak. I haven’t made a decision, but I would love to hear your thoughts on that and what kind of outfits you would like to see featured.

The past seven Sunday Favorite’s posts with the are linked below. Just click on any you would like to revisit. Please scroll to the bottom and share your thoughts in the comment section as well.

    Hi Cindy,
I love your blog. Your style suits you perfectly and inspires me all the time. So THANK YOU very much! I like your color choices, your styling of longer scarves, your spin on using vintage jewelry and your collected look.
Thank you so much for helping me “get lost” in interesting ideas and clever stylings!
    You are Simply The Best.

      Hi Georgia

I am so humbled. I work hard and do my best. You ladies make the blog and inspire me to be better.

Yes on Outfit of the Week. Interesting that many of the favorites had matching shoes and bag in pattern or color. My first instinct is to match, and am trying to be “more current” by not matching, with limited success. Think it works with these outfits because they have a current and creative vibe. Love gardening, cooking, and collected look design too. So, would say, more of the same. Appreciate the time and energy you put into your blog.

Love your outfit of the week and always get inspired by them. More please:) l love skirts and dresses that are affordable and fun for Spring and your Etsy finds are always amazing. Thank you Cindy !

    • Cindy Hattersley says

      Hi Francesca

I picked up a great affordable dress and will have an upcoming post in the next couple weeks

  4. Barb L says

Yes to Outfit of the week! I always find them inspiring – and how I can adapt a look to work for me. I I have enjoyed your ‘packing for a vacation’ tips and found them so helpful. Also I have loved when you style an outfit several different ways. Your style is amazing!

  5. Judee Biggles says

    Hi Cindy,
I really enjoy the outfit of the week and would love more styles with waist emphasis. I don’t wear a lot of tunics as
the widest part of my body is my hips and I am not tall enough to carry it off. 5’5″ 140 lbs. I also like your food suggestions and have made several of your recipes. I am so happy you did a post on hair care as I have your white
hair with a natural wave (which I, like you fight). The Hair Biology shampoo, conditioner and serum are fabulous,
thanks for recommending them. Also love the Revlon Styling brush, my new favorite tool.
How about a suggestion on how to love 10 pounds!!

    • Cindy Hattersley says

      Hi Judee

I need that same advice on how to lose 10 lbs. Well, I actually I think I would be very happy with five. I just need to do it! We must have similar physiques. My bum and thighs are probably the biggest as well. I look best if something at least nips in at the waist. Thanks for your comment Judee you always light up my day!

    • Cindy Hattersley says

      Hi Judee

It sounds like we have similar physiques! If I wear some of those dresses that are popular right now I look like a barrel! I think I am too old to lose 10 but I would be happy with five!!

  6. Nancy Yates says

The outfit of the week certainly provides inspiration. It might be enhanced by readers sharing their own recommendations, if not for entire outfits but possibly something wonderful they have found. Is there a new website you are shopping or did you find a significant sale, might be some of the sharing tips we could all enjoy?

I would also like to see a drop down list of recommended online shop sites that might be categorized into sub-sections like, “Best for Weddings”, “Best for Casual Night Out”; “Best for Dresses”; “Best for curvy gals” and so forth, allowing us to get connected quickly to possible shop sites that are recommended and responsible.

And finally, how about a Best Buy of the Week, for any clothing, home goods and travel that might be fun.

    • Cindy Hattersley says

Nancy! Great suggestions here! I love your buy of the week idea. I just found one today. I can do a sidebar with my favorite sites. I will work on that!

    • Cindy Hattersley says

      Hi Nancy

I think you have some great points. Please share your ideas or buys that you have found. I will work on your suggestions! Thank you so much!

    • Cindy Hattersley says

      Hi Teresa

I think we all at this stage of our life prefer more “casual but stylish” outfits.

  7. Daphne says

Love the blog! Love outfit of the week, fashion interviews, interior design, and gardens. I look forward to your blogs.

  8. Linda says

I love the outfits you put together! I love 1, 3, 7 in this article. I would be happy if you did a focus even two days a week and then continued with your other posts as you do now.

  9. Paula Nicholson says

Hello! I am new to your blog and I am loving what I have seen thus far. Please continue the Outfit of the Week. Shopping for clothing is my biggest challenge. I want to be stylish but comfortable. My first love is design and I see you offer that as well so I think I have found the perfect blog. I can see that a lot of time & effort go into your work. It is much appreciated. Keep up the good work!

  10. Katherine says

    Hi Cindy,
I love the outfit of the week. I totally enjoy the casual laid back current lounger type of looks.
It’s what I live in pretty much now. Because we live in a hot harsh environment for a good five months of the year, linen roomy relaxed look is what most appeals to me. I have “oh my feet” I deal with so I’m down to living in my HOKA’s Bondi 8. My whole look is centered around my shoes. I used to really dress up with all my beautiful shoes. Most of them have all gone to The Goodwill. Any wide and extra wide sandals and white sneakers that are kind of nice I would love to hear about.
You put so much time and effort into everything you do. You are amazing, “Wonder Woman” comes to mind.
Thank you for all you do for the blog community. I certainly appreciate you.

  11. Wren says

Hi Cindy, #s 1,2,3 and 7 are my favs. They all are simple in design and without much pattern except in the accessories. Trying to think….is that how I usually dress? Except for my stripes! haha. I always enjoy the outfit of the week ideas so as long as you can get inspiration, I think your readers will be on-board.

  12. Dani says

    Hi Cindy,

I must say that my favorite outfit was the one that included the H&M oversized sweatshirt. I rushed to buy it and can’t get enough of it. I would love to see more of cozy outfits including leggings and tunics. Why not An Outfit of the Day! 🙂
    Love your posts!

  13. Paula Craig says

Yes for outfits of week!! They give me ideas & lots of time I buy them or similar. I need these outfits if the week cuz they are modern & stylish!!! Also love anything make up & healthy receipes. Keep up the blog- it’s so important to me!!!

  14. Laurie L Cordeniz says

Hi Cindy! I really look forward to ALL of your posts. You never disappoint and inspire me immensely. One thing I would like to know more about is what you do to keep in such great shape. Any motivation from you would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all your thoughtful posts. 🙂

  15. Pamela Whitcomb says

A great post, as always! 🙂 The cheetah shoes are darling. But checking on that website I fell in love with the ‘Bee Happy’ pair! 🙂 Thanks for sharing all the great ideas with us. You are a blessing to many, Cindy!
    (Hope Steve is doing ok)

  16. Beth says

I LOVE your fashion posts & find you an inspiration for how to put together an outfit that’s not boring! A recap is always nice & makes it easier to refer back to certain items.

  17. Terri says

Girl you inspire me to kick it up a notch! I love all that you publish; clothing, recipes, home decor. Keep it coming! I was so excited to see the oversized sweatshirt from H&M (#5 above?) that I ran out and bought it next day for a “girlfriends scrapbooking” weekend!

  18. Debbie says

I LOVE and look forward to your inspiring outfits each week. A recap doesn’t seem necessary to me. After years in leggings and tunics, I would love to see what your ideas are for incorporating the new waistline centric look to an aging body! Thanks for all your inspiration whether it be fashion, food, decorating, travel, or health. You are my favorite blog!

    • Gray says

Yes! I second what Debbie said – my waist isn’t excited about “waistline centric” !! And I still wear leggings and tunics at home.

  19. Paula Green says

    Hi Cindy,
I’m new to your blog but I do enjoy your outfits of the week. They are put together without being too matchy.
I am required to wear all black for my job and i think this is common. It is a challenge to make all black look fresh everyday. It would be wonderful if you would offer some suggestions.
Wearing all black sounds easy but it tends to get boring.
Thank you for your wonderful posts!
    Paula

  20. Kim says

Outfit of the week?! Am all for it! Really is up to you as each blog post requires time to create content, proof the content, edit photos, etc. Would absolutely enjoy it as it provides so much fashion inspiration. I especially enjoy the accessories that add a unique flair.

  21. Bonnie White says

I think this was your question.
I love all your clothing posts. I look in great detail at each one. If I want to refer back to them I can go to to your website and look at past posts. Personally, a recap day isn’t as attractive to me. I’d much rather you shop the new spring arrivals in your fav sites to what you like coming out new.

You have become a source for interior design and clothing and accessories, make up, skin products, etc favorites. Not so much a recipe source. But that is me.

    Thanks

  22. Mary says

    HI Cindy
    thanks for a lovely blog!
I own the black Vivaia leopard flats and love them -lots of compliments
I own another pair of that brand and they are comfortable and stylish
