Happy Sunday everyone. I am going to be a busy bee this week. Summer is coming tomorrow and will be here all week. I hope to get all of my posts out but, in case I don’t you will understand why. Since it is Sunday I am joining my pals Mary Ann and Annie and we share all kinds of fun stuff we have noted throughout the week. This week I have a question for you: Do you love Architecture, Travel, Fashion, or Cooking More?
LINDA LIME ON INSTAGRAM
Linda had a blog back in the old days. I think it was called the Lime in the Coconut? She may have to correct me. She no longer blogs but she chronicles her life at “the coconut casita” with her Great Danes in Vero Beach Florida. Linda also has a wonderful Airbnb here. Currently, she is traveling in Morocco and sharing the most wonderful images on her Instagram feed here. If you aren’t following her, you are truly missing out.
BALLARD DESIGNS PODCAST- HOW TO DECORATE WITH JEFFREY DUNGAN
I admit I am not the greatest sleeper at night. I try to either listen to a documentary that I don’t really need to watch or listen to a podcast that doesn’t require too much thinking or work. If you have been reading this blog long you know that I am in complete awe of Jeffrey Dungan’s work. If you love Jeffrey Dungan’s work you will love it even more once you listen to this podcast.
Jeffrey’s book The Nature of Home is one of my all-time favorites. It is always on my coffee table.
You can also follow Jeffrey Dungan on Instagram here, or see his entire portfolio on his website here.
NEW YORK TIMES ITALIAN BROCCOLI SALAD
If you love broccoli but don’t want the traditional mayonnaisey sweet broccoli salad we have all become accustomed to, I think you will love this one. The good news is you can make it ahead and it tastes just as good the second day. My kind of salad! You can find the recipe for the Italian Broccoli salad here.
OUTFIT OF THE WEEK
You know I love Johnny Was. This tunic is to DIE for. I caved and ordered it. I am featuring it with my favorite lysee denim leggings, a Brixton hat, my favorite olukai flip flops, and pretty inexpensive accessories. FYI Gap has a really nice linen tunic here for a less inexpensive look.

CHEAP CHIC OUTDOOR DINING CHAIRS
My realtor, friend, and loyal blog reader sent me the link to these chairs. We sold the chairs that we had around our table with our lake home. They were very similar to these. All of the chairs I liked were way more dollars. FYI these are well made and comfortable. You get two chairs and a table (which I wasn’t dying to have) for $299 a steal. The only odd thing about them is they are in two pieces, but once they are tightened up you barely notice. I will have to have the blue cushions recovered, but I am thrilled with them and the $$$ I saved. You can find these chairs on Home Depot here.

Thanks for a great post!
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Maeve
I love that travel when possible (so true!), especially the past few years.
Elizabeth says
Cindy, so many things…I ordered the chairs! Thanks for the tip I have been looking for new chairs for some time. The price is amazing.
Love the outfit of the week. The salad is going to be on permanent rotation at my house. And now I am off to shop your sales.
Forgot to add, love the Ballard design podcast!
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Elizabeth
Aren’t those chairs a bargain? I just ordered another pair. I thought the little tables would end up at Goodwill but they are fine actually. That salad is a winner. I think next time I make it I am going to substitute white balsamic for fun.
Ginger says
Cindy how do you do it?! I love Linda Limes Instagram; her pictures from morocco and Scotland – oh my goodness! Amazing! And her Airbnb is right up the road from me – it’s such a lovely area of Florida! Thanks for sharing! The salad looks amazing and the outfit is beyond perfect! Thanks for all those great links too. I ordered some GAP T-shirts. Great post!
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Ginger
I have known Linda (virtually) for years. She was/is an old blogger like myself. I did not realize you two lived near each other. I would love to check your area out at some point. When Steve retires we will have more flexibility for traveling more. Glad you like the Gap tees. They wear like iron!
Kathy Chandler says
I’m looking forward to following Jeffrey Dungan! Ballards has alway been a favorite of mine. Have a fun week with Summer, she is darling.
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Kathy
Thank you so much! Ballard’s is really killing it right now in my opinion.
Eva Popovich says
I always look for this in my email every Sunday, and then catch up with all the treats you post through the week as I have time. Thanks always!
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Eva
I so appreciate that. You made my day!
Juliet says
What a fun week it’s going to be with little Summer in the house! I didn’t know about Linda or Jeffrey. What?! Now I do! I’m with you in detesting mayonnaise in anything and so appreciate a traditionally mayo-based salad revised for those of us who don’t partake. I’ll be writing and Pinning this one! Having an amazing week! xo
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Juliet
It is Monday afternoon and I am just getting to my comments if that tells you anything!! I am so glad you are on team no mayo! I love aioli but plain mayo no thanks. Steve always says I poisoned our kids feelings about mayo!
Annie Diamond says
oooohhhh, that salad looks and sounds amazing! I will be trying it this week, I just started following Linda! Have so much fun with Summer this week!
xx
Cindy Hattersley says
