I don’t know about you but I am getting tired of wearing work out clothes. I am looking forward to wearing linen and sandals . Madewell is having 40% off almost everything. as well as J Crew. Here are a few of my favorites.

One of you emailed me about comfy linen pants.  If you are looking for a flattering, comfy linen crop you will love these and the price. I love these acetate hoops and these are a great color for summer for $13 are you kidding me? I have coveted this eyelet shirt from J Crew now at $41.99 the price makes it doable. So many of you ask about my bandanas.  I find most of them at Madewell.  They are not on sale, but isn’t this block print duo pretty?  Okay, this straw hat is ridiculously reasonable at $23.70.  In the summer people often forget their hats when they come to the lake so it is nice to have a backup! I am a sucker for embroidered tops.  Lov,e the color and the price of this one! If you don’t have a pair of tortoise hoops ($14+) this is a good time to pick them up.  This white popover has details galore.  Pin tucking on the sleeves and sort of a modified ruffle on the edge of the sleeve.  I like the length of the sleeves at $44.70 it is a steal!

I have been working on weeding out my old Pinterest photos that are no longer relevant. I would love to have you join me on Pinterest as well. We have some fun posts coming up.  On Tuesday I am joining six other bloggers and we are creating a Progressive Dinner for you. I also have an upcoming post on gray hair that you are going to love.  I am joining three amazing (and I do mean amazing) bloggers and we will share our journey and how we care for our gray hair.

I hope my Sunday Fun Stuff brightened your day a bit. I am off to do some gardening.  The sun is finally out here.  We have had such a cool Spring.  Wouldn’t you know, now that we have all the time in the world to spend in the garden it still feels like Winter. How is your weather and what are you doing to keep busy?

Super post, Cindy! Linen really is a top notch fabric in keeping cool. I love the wide leg pants but sometimes I feel I’m too short to wear them, 5’2.

Your garden is so lovely. I’m waiting for Chicago temps to be warmer! I love seeing you Cali girls get together for blog posts!

    Jane 😘

      Hi Jane

I don’t think you are too short Jane. I am only 5’4. They sure are comfy!!

I love looking at your gardens and Beau is precious. Actually Kentucky has had an early spring with some seriously warm days. I have passed many of our quarantine days cleaning up and getting my gardens ready for the upcoming season. I need some new plants to fill in where flooding took them. So I’ll be glad to get out and play at one of our local nurseries

I love your posts. I’m going to go to Pinterest and add you.
I’ve been busy gardening. We live on Whidbey Island in Washington and it’s been lovely weather. We normally have lots of rain in the spring. The sunshine and being outside lifts the spirits during this time. Take care and stay healthy.

Even though he has a penchant to dig right into pungent fresh mud, my Chocolate Lab always assists me in the garden! Have you seen the movie, “A Dog’s Journey”? We watched it together last night. Lovely, touching film.

There is nothing in this world that brings a garden to life more than seeing a pup wandering through…..I can imagine him stopping to sniff all of the wonderful garden scents.
