Revolutionize your Hair Care with Zuvi’s Infrared-Light Technology

Today’s Post is Sponsored by Zuvi Halo

I would say my hair is my best asset, but it can be challenging. I am fortunate that I do not have thinning hair or sensitive scalp issues. I do have just enough wave to make haircare a challenge. Hello Frizz. Did I mention that my silver hair also tends to yellow with heat? I was in the market for a good blow dryer when Zuvi asked me to give their hairdryer a try. I was more than happy to do so. Let’s chat about how to Revolutionize your Hair Care with Zuvi’s Infrared-Light Technology

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE ZUVI HAIRDRYER

It is a little different than most hair dryers so there is a bit of a learning curve (more on that later). Zuvi is currently having a sale of 15% off the hairdryer. If you would like to try the hairdryer Zuvi is offering my readers an additional 5% off the labor day sale price if you use the code CINDY5 here.

It’s quiet and compact. The drying time is no different than the heat blaster I was using. It is extremely lightweight. The Zuvi hairdryer dries hair with infrared-light energy instead of high heat, so it uses lower temperatures to dry your hair and prevent heat damage. In my case that means much less yellowing and frizz. It also retains two times more moisture than a traditional hairdryer. It is highly recommended as one of the best hair dryers by Vogue, Time, Marie Claire, Wired, Forbes, Cosmopolitan, and Allure best of beauty (one of my go to’s when investigating good products)

Soft-Provides a lighter wind and heat level for a gentler drying experience.

Fast-Provides the strongest wind and heat setting for faster drying. Ideal to start your hair drying, use until your hair is about 60-70% dry.

HOW I USE MY ZUVI HAIRDRYER

Here is how I use my Zuvi hairdryer on my thick hair. For my blowout, I only use two settings fast and style. I add my favorite styling cream, then comb my hair with a wide-tooth comb. I turn my head upside down and dry it on fast mode with the fast hair mode attachment until I it is bout 70% dry. Turning my head upside down gives my dry hair some body. Then (per my ace hairdresser), I clip up my hair and begin at the back with the styling concentrator on the style setting and a round brush. I like using it with the round brush for volume. I work my way around the bottom of my head and then to the same thing with the next layers, and then the front. If you work fast you will get a desired result without using other tools that might damage your hair.

WHY YOU MIGHT LIKE THE ZUVI HAIRDRYER

It is perfect for all hair types and textures. Keeping your hair hydrated is important for hair health and strength. “The cortex, the inner layer of the hair shaft, is responsible for hair’s elasticity”. When it’s dehydrated, it can become brittle and weak. Keeping your hair hydrated keeps it healthier, shinier, smoother and less frizzy. If you have a sensitive scalp, you will appreciate the lower temperature

Revolutionize your Hair Care with Zuvi’s Infrared-Light Technology

“Your old hair dryer, which typically consumes around 1700 watts of power ( more energy than two microwave ovens combined to heat your hair and scalp), leading to overdrying”. Yikes I had no idea. I am so happy to have found a high-tech hair dryer with lower wattage that is effective and uses 60% less energy. I am a new fan. If you are in the market for a new hairdryer you can use the code CINDY5 for an additional 5% off the labor day sale price of 15% your hairdryer, That’s 20% off.

Thanks for this pal! I just ordered it. I have been on the fence with the Dyson, and after hearing mixed reviews, decided not to get it! So here we go with this one – And I am a fan of red light therapy so infrared is right up my alley!

Your hair always looks fab! I appreciate your battle with the frizz as I engage in the same fight with my silver bob. I bought a Dyson several years ago. A splurge but makes a difference. Perhaps similar to the Zuvi. Now Dyson has the Airstrait for sleek, frizz-free hair. Would love to know if it’s worth $500. Anyone tried it?

I just bought one and am sending it back. I do not feel it did anything different than my blow dryer and it was super hard to style since you have to use the concentrator. and since it is so expensive, I decided to send it back.

Cindy, You do have great hair, indeed! Much to my dismay, I (who also have nice, thick silvery hair) have a problem with yellowing from tools.

I wash my hair before sleeping and it is dry when I wake., so no need for a dryer. My flat iron is MY frienemy. I love that it completely smooths my very frizzy hair. Oh, that I would have had this tool in high school! However, it does tend to yellow my hair. I keep the temp as low as I can. Thus far, I have been unable to find a “ protective “ product that leaves my hair feeling freshly clean. Do you or your readers know of one?

Bye the way – I have instructed my darling grandchildren that grandma’s hair is NOT gray! They may refer to it as either silver, or platinum:-).

What a great review! I didn’t even know there was such a thing as an infrared-light hair dryer, but now I totally want to look into it. I appreciate the discount too. Thanks for doing all the legwork for us!

So interesting. Did not know it uses new technology. I like that it doesn’t damage grey hair. Thanks.

    Cindy, this sounds very interesting.

I don’t have any problems with my hair except a little curl and I live where it is humid for 1/2 the year!

I am going to check out this dryer. Thank you for sharing!
