I actually went to a few stores yesterday, well Banana Republic, Pottery Barn, and J Jill. I put this in my stories yesterday. If you are like me and when you shop for others you always find something for yourself. I rationalized it because it was my birthday haha. I wear vests all the time (I especially love the ones that cover the bum). This one from J Jill is a keeper. It is 40% off and I would have snagged the plumb one if they had it in my size. I bought the XS and it fits perfectly. I find JJill to run large. I am not normally a JJill shopper but I think they have really upped their game lately. Their entire collection is 40% off here. It’s a good time to try them out if you haven’t lately. These leggings looked great. They were nice and thick. They looked very slimming. I was in a hurry so I didn’t get them. Have you tried them?

Happy Belated Birthday, Cindy! I have that J Jill down puffer vest in 2 colors: black and rosewater pink. Love the vest length and weight of the down fill. Also have the J Jill Ponte Leggings in the charcoal grey/latte plaid, charcoal/ash grey check, and charcoal grey heather. Their cashmere tunic sweaters are surprisingly soft and lofty, well-made. I wear petite sizes; their Pure Jill and Fit lines are my favorites.

I don’t know why I hadn’t given JJill a recent look. I love that vest and would have loved the plum but sold out in my size. Glad to hear about the ponte leggings I am going to give them a try the next time I go in. Happy Holidays!

I just ordered The Home Edit book for my DIL. I was going to hire their team to help her organize her pantry but when I told her, she informed me that there were others in her area of LA who do it for a lot less. However, I was in touch with the personnel from Home Edit in LA who were very responsive before we decided to go with someone else.
Would you be so kind as to let me know who you ordered the burlap Christmas ribbon from ( except now I don’t remember if it was you or Mary Ann in SF who suggested!)? NO I haven’t shopped J JILL in YEARS………….they started off GREAT as they had TALL but like MOST shops and I will include ANTHROPOLOGIE they START OFF WITH A BANG and then I guess they become so POULAR they cannot keep up and the materials.They get cheaper and cheaper……………I have learned to ASSESS A GARMENT!Meaning how will this look AFTER I WASH IT!
I liked J.JILL for sweaters when she was alive.THE STORE AMBIANCE was ALWAYS LOVELY.
