I am certainly not a beauty expert. What I do when compiling a beauty post is research, research, and research. I rely on experts and customer favorites. I try what they suggest and then find what works best for me personally and share my findings with you. What works for me, may not work for you. As we age our lips lose volume and definition and we gain those lovely little lines all around our mouth. For years I relied on a quick swipe of gloss and chapstick for lip care. Too many years in the sun and lack of care has forced me to try and do the best I can with what I have got. It is time to treat the skin around my mouth the same way I treat the rest of my skin. Here are my anti-aging lip care tips. 
#1 Anti Aging Lip Care Tips-Exfoliate
My lips get extremely dry which accentuates the lines around the mouth issue. I have finally succumbed to exfoliating my lips regularly and it has made a huge difference. My pal Maryann makes her own. You can find her recipe here. She gave these as party favors at a recent luncheon. How cute are these? 
If you don’t want to make your own there are scrubs for every budget. This is an item I don’t think you need to pay a lot of $$ for but here are some favorites. 
#2 Anti Aging Lip Care Tips-Repair
There are numerous serums and treatments on the market. I am frankly too lazy to get that carried away. Many lip balms have ceramides and anti oxidant ingredients added to help heal and protect. I have the Kiehl’s Lip Balm on my nightstand currently. The Jack Black Lip Balm is another favorite. The Burts Bees I keep in my office drawer, and my makeup case. If I am not wearing lipstick I slather it on. The others come highly recommended but I personally haven’t tried them.
#3 Anti Aging Lip Care Tips- Protect

Have you tried Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask? I had chapped, peeling lips all my life and couldn’t be without lip balms (I tried them all) until I discovered this. I use it every night and my lips are smooth for the first time in my life and I can wear lipstick. It’s been a game changer for me.

Mostly I saw a Blog full of ads and nothing new. What is keeping my lips full is microneedling. I purchased online the small one designed specifically for lips and it really works.
