Raise your Hand if you Love Spanish Revival Architecture

Happy Sunday Everyone. Today I am joining my pals Annie and Mary Ann for our Sunday Fab Five. Raise your Hand if you Love Spanish Revival Architecture. You know I do. Today I am featuring a gorgeous Spanish Revival Los Angeles home, a casual outfit to, a new blog, and Katie (Preppy Empty Nester) takes San Miguel de Allende. You know that will be full of fun.

PRODUCER ANNIE POH’S CHARMING SPANISH REVIVAL LOS ANGELES HOME

Producer Annie Poh collaborated with her designer sister-in-law Fran Keenan to restore this Los Angeles beauty featured in Veranda here.

Raise your hand if you love Spanish Revival Architecture.

Love the beautiful stairwell and clever vintage gallery wall.

OUTFIT OF THE WEEK

I love this leather-trimmed poncho from Tuckernuck. It is reasonably priced and comes in lots of colors. The leather trim really makes it interesting. The Ganni turtleneck that I featured a couple of weeks ago would look great with this, I will link a less expensive version as well. I like the Madewell Transport tote because it can be worn two ways. The earrings are also from Madewell. Two pairs (2 different sizes) for $30. Comfy Birdies and a great hat from Brixton finish off the outfit!

NOTE: IF YOU NEED EXTENDED SIZING, SUBSTITUTE:

San Miguel has been on our bucket list forever. So glad Katie, the Mister, and the family tested the waters for us. Check out Katie’s post on San Miguel de Allende here. They stayed at the beautiful Rosewood Resort.

PALMER WITH JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

Is there anything Justin Timberlake can’t do? Our kids watched this on the airplane on their way back from Florida and suggested we watch it. Justin Timberlake “plays a former college football star and ex-convict who spent 12 years in prison for theft and attempted murder. He moves in with his grandmother Vivian, who occasionally watches over a flamboyant young boy named Sam, the son of her neighbor Shelly, a drug addict.” You will feel better about humanity after watching.

I’m determined that my next home is a Spanish Revival, I’ve loved that style forever!
    This example is sooo good!
Such pretty clothes you tempted me again. Like I need another anything but I would use that turtleneck. Too bad only small size is left. Well, that saved me a few $!
Going to check out the new blog, too.
Thanks for the fun Sunday posts, even if I don’t read them til Monday!
    Xo Heidi

    Hi Cindy,
I love your blog; it has been inspiring for me. I also have had trouble sleeping. I have had incredible success with the Vicks brand of melatonin with herbs. They are gummies – you take one or two at bedtime. I took two last night and slept better than I have in a loooooooong time.
Thanks for all you do! I appreciate your wardrobe ideas so much.

      Hi Georgia

I am so happy to hear you enjoy the blog. I try my best to offer something for everyone. Feel free to offer suggestions for posts anytime. I penned the brooch post because three of my lovely readers requested it! I am so thankful I do not require a lot of sleep or I would be in big trouble! Maybe I should try your trick.

    Hi Cindy,
This is a beautiful home. I love the style and I’m always happy to see posts featuring your former home as well as your new, smaller home.
The outfit is great, and I’ve been looking for a good cross-body bag. This Madewell looks good.
Thank you for always providing great ideas.

      Hi Karen

Cross-body bags are tricky they are either too teeny or too big! Good Luck!

I am raising my hand…both hands, Cindy! We have been to San Miguel twice and loved it. We rented homes (so many beautiful ones). It feels like a European hilltop town. All my white dishes came from there. Another great outfit of the week!!

  11. Gray says

Thanks for the shout out Cindy!! The State Of Gray is a week old. Almost.
The link is http://www.thestateofgray.com – is that ok that I put that in a comment?? 🤪
I have a post coming up on Going Gray, and you are linked. (Because well, of course! So many good gray/white hair posts here!)
Isn’t the movie Palmer great? He is so talented! AND the images of Spanish Revival are so gorJ. It’s not my style in my own home , but I just love it.

  12. Mumbai says

as you obviously didn’t see in your last blog I wish you a healthy and happy 2022 …..and yes, I raise my hand for Spanish A. I agree about the Spanish Colonial style. How did I miss your last comment. I must go back and find it! A healthy and happy new year to you as well!

What a great Fab Five! Every single thing is a winner. ‘Palmer’ has a great premise so I added it to our watch list. We will watch once football season is over – 🤭
