We are hosting Thanksgiving this year so I am working on a little outdoor decor to welcome my guests. Let’s take a look at my Easy Foraged Outdoor Fall Decor You Will Love. All you need are pumpkins and fall leaves. We are lucky to have this wonderful outdoor courtyard space in our new home. We enjoyed it all summer long. We just ate our first meal in the house last weekend.
If you are lucky enough to have an outdoor fireplace as we do. You can decorate it naturally and simply with foraged materials. You might enjoy seeing my original plan in the post My New Courtyard Design and Sources here.
I cut maple and pistache leaves from our yard and added them to the mantle, along with three pumpkins, easy peasy. If the leaves get too dried out before the end of the season just replace with new ones.
The planters on the sides have lemon trees planted in them.
I just added a few pumpkins and leaves to their bases. The planters came from my pals at Atelier de Campagne.
The zin bowl on the coffee table came from Atrium Mercantile (one of our favorite new haunts) in Atascadero.
This shot was taken before the sun went down.
I added a couple of branches to the watering can next to the fountain…
And sunflowers and grape leaves to the Hungarian Pickling jar (also from Atelier de Campagne) on the table.
That’s my simple natural decor for fall. I am on the hunt for some cozy throws to enjoy by the fire.

Thank you for reading Easy Foraged Outdoor Fall Decor You Will Love. I am in the process of making a couple of wreaths for the front doors and working on a little decor for the courtyard entry. You might also enjoy How to Decorate for Fall with Natural Elements. You can also find all of my fall-related posts right here. I will share those on Sunday. I am off to babysit Summer. I can’t wait to see her. I haven’t seen her in about six weeks. Way too long.

Your outdoor spaces look like what I consider the prettiest fall decor. Nature’s bounty.
Have fun with Summer.

Cindy,
First, enjoy your sweet Summer. I love her smile.
Second, everything looks gorgeous. I’ve never seen pistachio leaves, they look beautiful.
Cannot wait to see what you are up to for Thanksgiving.
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Elizabeth
I am enjoying her to the fullest thank you! They are called Pistache trees. I believe they are originally from China. They have pretty berries this time of year as well.

Summer has such gorgeous hair. It’s been eight weeks since I’ve seen Louisa…hence my trip on Tuesday! I was thinking about what you said about seeing her every six weeks.
Your fall patio decorating is OUTSTANDING!

Love your clock on the mantle. Can you share where it was purchased? It looks lovely on this porch. Only wish this Kansas girl were there to share your weather! Thanks

Hi Gray
Thank you so much. I am enjoying Summer to the fullest!

It’s such a beautiful courtyard. The fireplace and cozy blankets will extend your use of this space. Truth be told, I’m a little envious!
Have fun with Summer. Do they live very far from you? Six weeks is a long time to wait to hug that little sweetie.
Cindy Hattersley says
Hi Joanna
We sure enjoy the outdoor space. That is the very reason our house is not finished. I wanted to finish the outdoor space so we could enjoy it. Summer is now 3.5 to four hours away. That is the only bad thing about our move. Once Steve retires and has his ankle surgery we hope to get up there more often.

What a fun idea to bring fall to your patio areas. I guess I’ll go looking for some gourds and pumpkins this week. I’m so behind this year! The photo of Summer is perfection. I’m sure you two will have a great time together. Once again thank you for inspiring us all!!
