A Charming NorCal Home you Will Love
You are in for a treat today, we are going to tour the darling home of blogger Juliet Russel of Make Mine a Spritzer. Just like you, I have seen Juliet’s home via the blog. I was lucky last month to be able to see it in person when Juliet hosted Kim’s (Nor Cal Style) birthday.

Let’s join Juliet at the gate to her front garden. This photo was taken by me. All of the other photos unless otherwise noted were taken by Juliette’s photographer Monica Vargas.

Her gardens remind me of an English Cottage Garden which suits the home beautifully

The outdoor fountain area is so inviting. This photo was taken by me during our visit. Around the corner to the right is a delightful seating area.

There we enjoyed Juliet’s signature mini charcuterie boards. You can read how Juliet assembles them in her weekend meanderings post here.

Juliet really loves green. Her home is filled with the prettiest shades of green beginning at the entry door. Her front door color is similar to that of my Chualar home, a little more blue than green and a couple shades lighter. The color of her front door is Farrow and Ball Oval Room Blue. Isn’t it lovely?

Her beautiful kitchen is off to the right upon entering.

The cabinets are Farrow & Ball Vert de Terre which is such a soothing shade of green. In our former home in Chualar my cabinets were once a similar shade of green. I unfortunately at the time fauxed the walls (remember that-an awful trend) so it wasn’t nearly as pretty as this. I miss having my fridge covered in my current home.

This beautiful coffee bar/serving area with the wood counter. Love the addition of the wood counter to balance all of the other colder surfaces. She served the delicious buffet lunch here when we visited.

To the left of the kitchen is this wonderful dining nook. Juliet does not have a formal dining room (neither do I) and she says she loves it. This is just how it looked set beautifully for Kim’s party.

The dining nook is part of Juliet’s fabulous great room. Here the walls are painted Benjamin Moore’s white opulence. I think what distinguishes this home is the beautiful millwork throughout.

This is the bar area of the great room. The lovely cabinetry is painted farrow and ball green smoke. Again I love the walnut countertop.

Let’s stroll down the hall to the library, another charming space. The beautiful millwork is all painted Farrow and Ball Oval Room Blue (like the front door) as well. I think it was a great choice for this cozy room.

Juliet repeated her love of blues and greens in the Main Bedroom. FYI my pal Mary Ann (Classic Casual Home) helped Juliet with many of her design decisions and fabric selections. Can you see why they got along so well?

The beautiful cabinetry in the main bathroom is painted Farrow and Ball Manor House Gray and the walls Strong White.

Wouldn’t you love to grab a glass of wine and relax in this fabulous tub.

The last room we will tour is the adorable guest bathroom. The cabinet is painted hale navy. If you are considering this color for your cabinetry you might also enjoy the refresh I did for the Morgan Winery Tasting Room in Carmel Valley, Morgan Tasting Room’s Fresh Modern Look.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of Juliet’s darling home. You can find all the details about Snowberry (Juliet’s home) on her wonderful blog Make Mine a Spritzer. You can find all of her paint colors listed here, and you can shop her home as well right here. For all of her latest updates, follow her on Instagram here. Thank you for reading A Charming NorCal Home you Will Love. I will be back on Thursday with my pal Brenda from 1010 Park Place for Ageless Style. I am featuring our new friends a fascinating and stylish couple.

Cindy, Juliets house is cozy, comfortable and beautiful! Thanks for sharing it.
Hi Elizabeth
Isn’t Juliet’s house just lovely? She is a wonderful hostess as well!
I love Juliet’s home!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen the blue room!! It’s gorgeous!! I do love her green kitchen!!
Hi Annie
I think I agree. I just love her kitchen!
A truly lovely home. Love the colors, decor items, fabrics and textures. I looked through the shopping links but didn’t see one for the baskets on the great room shelf that are kind of cut down in the front to see the titles of the books stored inside. I need something like that! So inspiring!
Hi Deanna
Hopefully, Juliet will chime in with the answer on this one
Any word from Juliet on the source of those baskets? I’ve been searching, with no luck so far.
Hi Cindy,
Julliet’s home is stunning. I absolutely every corner of it. Thanks to you both for sharing. I’m now a subscriber of her blog.
xx,
Karen B.
Hi Cindy, thank you so much for the kind comment! I’m thrilled to welcome you as a new subscriber! xo

Hi Mary Ann
I love all your touches! I can see why you got along so well!
MA – so much of the color came through the beautiful window coverings you expertly managed. They’re my favorite thing about our decor! xo

Everytime I see your name I think of Brenda. I am so glad you enjoyed the tour!
Sheila-Merle … that is such a sweet comment. Blues and greens are my jam … and you’re right, it’s very soothing. Thank you. xo
Hi Sheila-Merle
I love that “rolling in catnip”!! Great hearing from you as always.
I love it – such a pretty home. I want to know where the name Snowberry Cottage came from?!
Hi Gray
It is on Snowberry Lane I believe. Hopefully Juliet will jump in!
Hi Gray … Cindy is correct. We live on Snowberry Lane. So it’ wasn’t too imaginative! That said, when we found the house the name of the street was part of it’s charm. xo
What a beautiful home! I love everything.

Hi Kim
I think I agree with you about her kitchen. It is just fabulous!!
Stunning…and so calming! As a blue/green lover myself, I loved every space in her home!
Hi Barbara … we’re kindred spirits. I chose a blue and green theme for my childhood bedroom … and have stuck with it ever sense. Thanks for your kind words. xo
Hi Barbara
It is fun to see color, isn’t it?
Good morning, Cindy,
The unpretentious classical warmth of Juliet’s home weds blues and greens perfectly. The soft hued greens of the wreath on the Dutch door took my breath away. And, yes, one can easily see why she and Mary Ann love creating together.
With admiration,
Diney now on Mercer Island
Diana! I love Mercer Island. We lived on Fidalgo Island for two years … too far from Seattle. Thank you for the kind comment … our Dutch door is a happy feature. I’ve wanted one for so long and it’s every bit as wonderful as I hoped it would be. xo
Hi Diney
I didn’t realize you had moved! I am so glad you enjoyed Juliet’s beautiful home.
LOVELY POST on a LOVELY LADY!
WHEN I SEE BLUE I THINK OF HER!!!
THAT WAS A BEAUTIFUL HOT HOT DAY AND WE ALL SURVIVED WITH THAT WONDERFUL ICE TEA AND FOOD!!
NOW SHE SAYS THAT WILL BE THE LAST HOUSE UPDO!
I HAVE A FEELING THAT MAY NOT COME TRUE!
BUT THEN AGAIN IF SHE WEARS BLUE
THAT MAYNOT COME TRUE!
I’M A POET!!!!!!!!!!
XXX
You’re a poet. Don’t you know it! xoxo
Hi Elizabeth
Hmmmm I am not sure I believe that either. I think she is a serial house builder!!
My dream home
Hey Lakegal … thank you! 😉
Hi Lakegal
I think many feel the same way you do!!
Cindy! Even though I knew it was coming my heart skipped a beat when the post landed in my mailbox. What a thrill and honor to be featured.
