Happy New Year ! I always find it interesting to reflect at the end of the year and check out my ten most popular posts of 2018. These are the posts you enjoyed the most ( “according to google”). Many things are factored in, traffic from Pinterest (my main source of traffic), Instagram, traffic from other social media outlets and other sources. Most popular today has a lot to do with how much exposure an image gets. I would love to hear your personal favorites in the comments as well.
This year Mary Ann, Annie and I amped up our Project Design Series and are posting every month. The Contessa, (the Vintage Contessa) and I will be continuing our popular Ageless Style Monthly Series which you all seem to like. I am going to be collaborating with some new bloggers this year as well so I am looking forward to a year of new beginnings here on Rough Luxe Lifestyle.
As you know I am a brand ambassador for Artful Home and a big fan of the company, their products, ethics and customer service. They let me slide by the first year without “modeling”. This was the first post I actually modeled the clothes on myself. Can you see the look of fear on my face? I have gotten a little more used to it but I am not one of those people who likes the camera. Thanks for bearing with me on my “modeling” stints. I can’t figure out why anyone wants to see me in anything. The only thing I can figure is you think “hey if it looks good on her it has to look good on me!!”

#3 was part of our Ageless Style Series. Occasionally rather than interview someone I feature someone famous in our Ageless Style Series. I featured Ali MacGraw last May. She was America’s Sweetheart when I was growing up. She has aged with grace and style and is a source of inspiration to us all.

This one is no surprise at all that it made my 10 most popular posts of 2018. This was actually an updated version of a post I did in 2015 and has continually held the number one spot for all time. I think it was initially popular because there wasn’t much information out there. That has changed somewhat and it is easier to find more information now. There is still not an overabundance which explains this posts continued popularity I suppose.
