Farmhouse Christmas Table and the Kati Dress

Hi Everyone.  I have been meaning to post my friend Roxanne’s Farmhouse Christmas Table for weeks. She styled it for a charity event we participated in a while back. Today I thought I would share her Farmhouse Christmas Table and the wonderful Kati Dress from Artful Home.

The Kati dress is cut beautifully and literally feels like a pair of pj’s. I am a big fan of Comfy USA.  I find their clothes always fit me perfectly, have a solid price point and are super comfy.  Their knits wash and wear beautifully and are great for travel. Here I am wearing the Kati with the motorcycle jacket I have had for years, a turtleneck for added warmth, a favorite necklace from my pal Mary Ann and my super comfy bedstu manchester boots.

Check out the website for the most correct color.  It is actually brown and black as it appears in the above phto.  The color appears off in some of the photos in the late afternoon light. FYI several of you have asked about my hair.  My stylist Lynn Colijn did a Brazilian Blowout on my hair to tame the frizz.  So far I am loving it. With gray hair comes more frizz. Since I had the blowout I don’t need to use nearly the product on my hair.  Lynn is at Allure Salon in Salinas. If you would like her number email me.

If you prefer a more traditional look I paired it here with a lightweight cashmere (mens) scarf (sometimes they are cheaper have you noticed?), the dream leggings also from Comfy and an old pair of gentle souls shoes. I am wearing an XS in the dress.

My home is finally decorated so how about some Farmhouse Christmas Table inspiration? My friend Roxanne is the queen of tablescapes.  She creates several a year for different local charity events and they are always show stoppers. I featured her kitchen a couple years ago here.

Roxanne used inexpensive ($4.99) Ikea throws at each chair and tied them back with a pinecone and leaf she designed.

A vintage galvanized minnow bucket serves as a vessel for the centerpiece.

She used World Market woven black placemats, with plates from the Hearth and Home collection by Chip and Joanna Gaines for Target. The stripe napkins are from the same collection. I will link to all available items at the bottom of post.

Each place setting was set with a different hand-thrown bowl made by one of Roxanne’s children. Glassware from owners collection.

Utensil holders are stone toothbrush holders from Target.

I hope you enjoyed the Kati Dress and Roxanne’s Farmhouse Tablescape. Are you ready for the big day or still scurrying around like a madwoman?
