Vertical Gardens… I’m Obsessed

I have a huge garden at my year round home and of late have become overwhelmed with maintaining the whole space. I have a very small area at my lake home where I can garden so  I am currently fascinated with gardening in small spaces.  It seems you get so much bang for your buck. I am fascinated with the idea of a vertical garden.  Here are some of my favorites

Hi Cindy. Vertical gardens are popping up all over the place in London now and I love them. Of all your choices I am drawn to the first with that beautiful aqua and rose colour combination and the oriental inspired piece. Gorgeous!

I think these are so cool! I can't even keep something alive when it's "horizontal" so I wouldn't dare attempt it, but that makes me admire them even more. 🙂 Gorgeous, unique post!

I have never liked vertical gardening before…too rustic for me. I think of bags nailed to a wall and filled with plants. Your examples are in another realm. The first three are my favorites. The first is painterly, the second tropical lush and the third shows how you can use vertical planting in a classical style, my style. Lovely.

These are amazing examples. I haven't been so fond of them since I've seen some crude ones on pallets, but these are stellar! I love these, especially the last one. Brilliant!.

I love it too. Can you imagine the time and love going into these pieces? I may be the only person on Earth who would actually attempt one of these at home. A misting I will go….
