As I said on Sunday it has taken me a while to get on board with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. As a blogger/influencer I don’t want to just throw a few items at you and pray you will buy them. I scour the entire site for things that I would buy or think you would like. It is a great time to score deals for the upcoming season. It truly is a great sale, but items sell out quickly. They do some restocking, but if you see something you like on my list, favorite it. Don’t do what I would do (dilly daddle around) and miss what I really want. That being said let’s take a look at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Items you don’t Want to Miss.
What I noticed is the preponderance of texture, especially anything quilted. Almost everything I have selected can be worn multiple ways. All of the items in the image below are linked below the collages that follow.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Items you don’t Want to Miss
Left to right first row: Love the reversible caramel and black poncho… so chic and you get two for the price of one. Love the Abstract Cardigan from Nic and Zoe. So many of you wanted the caramel-colored quilted topper I had last year. I was happy to see Nordstrom had two different options, one longer with a hood and a shorter shawl-colored one. I love the pretty blue quilted kimono-style treasure and bond jacket. It looks like it could come from a much more expensive brand whose name I won’t mention. It would be great with black pants or jeans. The quilted vest from Zella is so versatile. You can dress it up with black pants or throw it on over your workout clothes. I would wear it without the belt. I think it would be more flattering.
I selected these bottoms because they are all basics that could be mixed or matched with any of the above toppers. The knit skirt is an investment, but classic. If you have been wanting to try the Spanx faux leather leggings, now is the time!

I don’t know about you but my work attire is “athleisure”, so I am always on the hunt for stylish, reasonable looks. Many of these are from Zella (Nordstrom’s own brand), and all except for the last cover the bum. I couldn’t resist that jacquard-cropped number. It would be great with the kick flare crops in the next set.
SHOP ATHLEISURE TOPS
Nordstrom’s Zella brand has great buys on leggings. Several of you turned me on to the brand. They wear just as well as the more expensive brands in my opinion. I think every pair I chose has a pocket. I don’t know about you but I find athleisure leggings without pockets very annoying.

All of my selections are comfort brands. I included the high tops because I am coveting them. I am going to order and see if I can wear them. I added a couple of Paul Green options because I know many of you are big fans. I can’t personally wear them because of my bunion. Oh and the cute leopard hunters…I am praying for rain this fall.
SHOP SHOES AND BOOTS
All of the bags I selected are practical multipurpose bags except for the cute Kate Spade green. I couldn’t resist the color. The Longchamp expandable would be great for travel, as well as the regular tote and the backpack. You can convert to three different sizes. The All Saints cross-body is a nice size if you want to carry more than toothpicks. I love the Rag and Bone sling but of course, it is pricey.
I am sorry to get this to you so late in the day, it was about 24 hours of research. I hope you find some items that you can incorporate into your wardrobe. I did not have a chance to check out the makeup, and accessories. I will post about that on Sunday. You might also enjoy my Nordstrom Sale Home Picks here. I will be back tomorrow with a collagen report, and Thursday with Annie, Mary Ann, and the crew for an outdoor entertaining post that is packed with some of my favorite recipes. As always thanks for reading Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Items you don’t Want to Miss. You might enjoy this helpful article from SF Gate on How to Shop the Sale.
