Hi everyone! Today I am sharing my Christmas Tree (It looks the same every year) and my simple gift wrap. Many of you asked about my tags (I whipped them up on Canva). I wanted to make it fun for Summer this year so her presents are all wrapped in polka dots with rag ribbon and her tag is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I thought she would have fun (and be able to easily identify her presents if they were all alike). Here are my Christmas tree, simple gift wrap and downloadable tags.
My tree is filled with ornaments that I have collected since we have been married. Nearly every ornament has special meaning. Don’t worry we don’t light the candles they just complete the old world look.
Many of the ornaments on my tree have been purchased from my friend Marsha @tancredi and morgen. She does a limited amount of handmade ornaments every year that are quite special. My tree is full so I no longer purchase them for myself but I purchase one for each of our kids every year and they are favorites on their trees. My mom bought each of our kids an ornament every year and I plan on continuing that tradition with Summer.
Every year I enjoy unpacking the ornaments and remembering where and when they were purchased.
I change up the wrapping a bit every year. I don’t normally use holiday specific wrap so the leftovers can be used throughout the year. I used polka dot boxes and wrap that you can find on Amazon, along with the brown satin ribbon. The rag ribbon can be found on Etsy here. As you can see there is a sea of dots!
Everyone in the family has their own animal tag. I created pdfs for each if you would like to download them.
I removed the names and put Merry Christmas on them. If you have pretty handwriting you can write the name on the front if not on the back. That is why mine are printed, my handwriting is barely legible. Click on the link below each present for that particular tag.
merry christmas brown and white dog
Click on the links below each tag and you will find a downloadable version of that tag, that you can easily copy. I used off white cardstock. I will be back next week with our Christmas brunch menu if you are looking for ideas. We will be in Napa for Christmas but will celebrate with the whole family on the Saturday after Christmas. I hope you are enjoying the holiday season!

Cindy this is just such a good post. I love the idea that everyone has their own tags! These are really cute and how fun it will be for Summer!! Your wrap is perfect. I totally agree with a wrap that can be used all year! Loving the pretty ribbons. The tree is gorgeous. I like the old world look of the candles- even if you don’t light them! You have class Cindy. Everything you do is simply beautiful! I hope you have fun in Napa!! Looking forward to more gatherings with us all in 2020. Hugs my sweet friend. xo

Hi Robin
Thank you so much! I bet it is beautiful in Italy right now. Have a wonderful Holiday!
You never disappoint Cindy! I also like wrappings that can be used all year and am a big fan of multi purpose vessels and holiday decorations that are not necessarily occasion specific. I will be downloading those adorable tags and love the idea of using individual wrapping paper for Summer (or anyone in the family). Your tree is just lovely❤️ Happy Holidays🎄

Hi Eliz
My tree is in front of the door that goes to the side garden. It is in between the family room (with fireplace) and the dining room! So much fun the other day. Let’s get together in the new year and include Sandra and Brenda as well!
Oh thank you dear. I will definitely download these ~ all of them!
Enjoy this joyous season.
Cheers,
Amanda
Merry Christmas Amanda!! Thanks so much for your support!!
Cindy!! I love this! And your tree looks lovely!
Thanks Pal have a fabulous Christmas and New Year!
Your Christmas tree is beautiful!! I love The color scheme, and the luscious ribbon. We use real candles on our tree {Austrian tradition}, and light them. Needless to say, our tree is SUPERVISED!!.\ I will send you a photo on Christmas Eve. Your printable tags are adorable. I hope you post photos of Summer on instagram, maybe a video? All the best to you and your family, Robin
Hi Robin
If I lit my candles we would have a bonfire!! I love the look though. I will take a video of Summer just for you. She is 19 months old now and so much fun! She may be a little young this year to totally get it but maybe not. She is fascinated with shoes. I probably should have gotten her all shoes!! Merry Christmas to you and your family. When we make our next trip to Italy I will consult you before our trip!
