If you follow Mary Ann, Annie and I on Instagram ( if you don’t please do) you saw us go check out the Leanne Ford Collection at Crate and Barrel last week while we were in San Francisco for the Design Influencers Conference. Lauren Liess another fav of mine has a really reasonably priced collection at Bed Bath and Beyond as well. Let’s take a look at Leanne Ford for Crate and Barrel and Lauren Liess for Bed Bath and Beyond.
Leanne Ford is a former fashion stylist turned designer, HGTV star and author. I must confess I do not watch much HGTV. I do tape Restored by the Fords and try to catch most episodes. Leanne and her brother Steve are charming and sweet and Leanne has a unique style that reminds me very much of our Annie’s style. Annie posted this pic of Mary Ann, Kim and I in her stories and Leanne picked it up in her stories. Annie is a graphic artist by trade so her Instagram stories are the best. If you aren’t following her @mostlovelythings you should.
I love Leanne’s lean monochromatic style. It’s a bit edgy with lots of texture which I find very appealing.
Here are a few of my personal favorites from the Leanne Ford for Crate and Barrel collection that I would be happy to have in my own home or that of a client.
The Yuma fringed black jute rug would look fabulous in my kitchen, and I am crazy about the pretty cityscape print. The Fields Accent chair is one of the most stylish chairs I have seen in a while. The Charcoal Cane Bar Cabinet would be wonderful in a bachelor’s apartment. Her wonky basket would look fabulous in my Carmel Valley Project (are you reading Mary Ann?).
The clever Chloe candle holder would be great on an outdoor patio. Love the shape of her full moon clay vase. Kim and I loved her plain weave fringe throw and thought the quality for the price was quite good, and the white leather director’s chair (swoon). I will take one of each!

If you are hoping to update your bed for spring? Bed Bath & Beyond has made it easier with the release of their nature-inspired collection from interior designer Lauren Liess from HGTV and a blogging fav of mine. I love her line of textiles that are to the trade only, so I was so happy to see that she collaborated with BB&B for this price friendly collection.
Lauren’s textiles blend well with many of the other items in the Bee & Willow line exclusive to Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Many of the items are on sale right now and they are all priced well. The line is huge. Here are a few of my favorites from Lauren Liess and Bee and Willow.
- I love this indoor outdoor rug. I am tempted to order one for our lake house. The Bee and WillowFrancesca chandelier would be darling in a young girls’ room @$119.99 you can’t beat it! Lauren’s paisley comforter set designed after her live paisley that is to the trade only. Her round jute pillow could go anywhere. These cute blue dishes from Bee and Willow would be great for an extra set if you love blue. They have several throws at great prices love this one for summer. This floor lamp has a great look and a great price point of $79.99. Okay, this bed is darling. I am tempted to order two for my guest room. Simple and great looking! This lumbar bed pillow in blue and white, $27.99 and this pillow patterned after her wild chicory are such great deals. And last but not least, this darling bench from Bee and Willow in blue and white coordinates so well with her linens.

I am anxious to hear what you think about the two collections and if you have favorites? In Leanne’s collection, I am loving that wonky basket, and the chairs. Lauren’s collection has such a great price point, I don’t think you can go wrong with her textiles. Have a great day and don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @cindyhattersley.
I will be back with Mary Ann and Annie for a group Spring Fashion Post on Thursday!

What a great post! I love Leann Ford. Her style is nothing like mine, but love so many of its elements: the way she uses black & white; the spare quality of her style: and all the textures. These are all concepts I’m trying to incorporate into my more traditional home. I’m also looking forward to checking out the Lsuren Liess collection. Always enjoy your posts! Thanks for starting my day off so well!
