This month I am so happy to feature my friend an occasional client (she really doesn’t need me) Karen Fanoe. I remember spotting Karen years ago when I moved to the area. She was dressed all in black simply and elegantly with a hat and beautiful riding boots. I was fresh from the midwest and ran out and tried to find those riding boots. I do not shop online. I hate returning- plus I need to touch fabrics.

Thank you Karen for letting me interview you for Ageless Style. What strikes me while reading Karens answers and reviewing her pictures is her consistent style. She often wears a column of color, her signature hat and sunglasses, one beautiful piece of jewelry or her trademark concho belt. She knows her style and rocks it. Karen is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She also has a gorgeous home. Maybe I can convince her to let us feature it in an upcoming post. You would love it.

I don’t think I’ve commented on here before but I’ve read your blog for quite awhile and always enjoy it. You post about things I find interesting and we have similar taste. IMHO you cover interiors, recipes and fashion in just the right mix, so I say keep up the good work!
I think Karen looks great. She’s stylish without looking faddish, and dresses in a way that you notice her and then her outfit, rather than the other way around. Smiling and positive energy alway help too, no matter what you’re wearing, and I do admire a good hat!

Well, I understand why you’d want those boots. I just put an outfit together with tights and long boots. Great looking. This woman obviously has it together and know the look she wants and the look she wants to project. She looks great in everything she wears. I always love this series. Keep at it !

I like to dress in a column of colour, too. I feel more elegant in such and perhaps, look a bit thinner. 😉

Love this interview. As a woman in her late 50’s I want to stay fresh and stylish without looking like I’m trying too hard or trying to be 20 something. Karen’s style is just that Ageless Style!
