Fabulous Recipes, Tablescapes, Name tags, Games and More for Thanksgiving

Today I am sharing some of my ideas for name tags, ice breakers, recipes, table arrangements and more to make your Thanksgiving special. Let’s talk about Fabulous Recipes, Tablescapes, Name tags, Games and More for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is all about spending time with friends and family. It is my favorite holiday of the year.

Do you have special Thanksgiving traditions that you enjoy each year, or do you like to mix it up? We will have around 25 people this year. Steve usually brown bags Pinot Noir’s from various regions and asks our guests if they can guess where they came from. We usually come up with a Thanksgiving craft for the kids to enjoy. They are all getting bigger, so it get’s more challenging. Any ideas? Maybe we should plan a scavenger hunt this year. It is always more enjoyable when we can use both the outside and the inside with a big crowd. We are always happy for rain but hope it doesn’t rain on Thanksgiving day!

Let’s take a look at some of my inspiration from years past.

I started a new tradition last year with my grandchilren, ages 5 and 7. I cut out leaf shapes from colorful construction paper and let them write something on each leaf that they were thakful for. Then i hole punched a small hole at the end of the leaf and put a little ribbon through and attached each one to a grapevine wreath. It was part of our Thanksgiving decor and they were both so proud!
