Happy Friday! As promised here are some of my favorite cheap chic pics
These leggings from Target by Sarah Blakely (of spanx fame) are the absolute best legging for the money and maybe the best pair I own. They aren’t quite as constricting as the regular spanx so you can actually breathe.
I hate paying a lot of money for scarves. Target is a great resource for scarves. I have one similar to this that I bought a couple of years ago and I get more compliments on it than I do on the more expensive ones.
This is the best white shirt I have ever owned. I don’t have the best luck at Chicos for my body type but this one is a winner. You can wear the sleeves rolled up or down. It is extremely flattering. I have three and every time I wear one I get compliments. It is no iron (translation it still looks best with a quick run over with the iron), but you can definitely wear it as is. Absolutely fabulous for travel. If you buy two you get 50%off. You can’t have too many white shirts, right?
If you need to spend the big bucks to find a pair of jeans that fits properly there is nothing wrong with that. Think number of wears per pair. We think nothing of spending $$$ for a nice dress but think it ridiculous to spend $$$ for a pair of jeans that we wear three times a week instead of twice a year. My favorite jeans are the Girlfriend for $69.95 at the Gap. If you are patientyou can find them on sale. They come in numerous rinses and they wear like iron.
Who’s happy that necktie scarves are back in style? Love this polka dot one from Nordstrom for $15.
I think turtlenecks are back, right? I personally never quit wearing them. These shaped ones from Lands End (yep you heard it right) are fabulous for the price
I grabbed a pair of these at TJ Maxx on a whim and they are extremely slimming. They are sort of a hybrid between a legging and a pant. That Ivanka knows what she is doing. They are thicker than a legging, suck you in like Spanx, and hide a multitude of sins. Love these!!
