Make This Delicious Cranberry Walnut Bread to Give or Keep

Happy Sunday. I am joining Mary Ann and Annie for our Sunday favorites. I hope you have your shopping done and can enjoy the rest of the holidays. Today I am featuring a pretty IG feed, a festive outfit of the week, holiday makeup, and Diane Keaton. Oh, and let’s make this delicious cranberry walnut bread to give or keep.

SIX EASY WAYS TO LOOK PARTY READY

I enjoyed this post from Alyson Walsh on holiday makeup, and I think you will too.

PINECONE AND ACORNS CRANBERRY WALNUT BREAD

This Cranberry Walnut Bread from my friend Elizabeth sounds delicious and just right for Christmas morning.I am picking Summer up on Wednesday. She loves to bake. I thought we would make this for Christmas morning. Wait we better make two and freeze one. I doubt if I can keep her out of it until then!

OUTFIT OF THE WEEK

I Spotted this tunic from Johnny Was and just loved the gorgeous color combination. It comes in extended sizes as well. It would be pretty now and later with white jeans. I styled it here with velvet jeans from J Jill, red velvet birdies, a gorgeous Caroline Rose sweater, Ralph Lauren earrings, and one of those cute Ikat clutches that I am kind of obsessed with. I think this J Crew Tartan would be great as well and it is much more price friendly.

DIANE KEATON IN POMS

I love Diane Keaton. If you haven’t seen Poms, I think you would get a kick out of it. What’s not to like about a group of old women forming a cheerleading squad in a retirement village.

Well, that’s it for my five favorites this week. Thanks for reading Make This Delicious Cranberry Walnut Bread to Give or Keep. I don’t know about you but I am sick to death of the thought of shopping, but I did notice that J Crew is having a sale on their cashmere. I know their favorites sell out so I thought I would pass that along. Have a great Sunday and don’t forget to pop over and visit Annie and Mary Ann for their favorites.

    Cindy,
The recipe for Cranberry Bread looks delicious. I love the outfit. I only have one pair of Birdies and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I am enjoying the rain today (Christmas Eve Eve) because I’ve finished the early prep for tomorrow night and all the presents are wrapped and ready.
Have a wonderful Christmas. Thank you for always entertaining and inspiring all of us.
    xo,

      Hi Karen

I agree about the Birdies. I wear my velvet pair all of the time. The leather pair not as much for some reason! I need to get a leopard pair. I think I would wear them to death! Happy Holidays!

    Merry, Merry Cindy,

Tomorrow is the day for the annual cranberry nut bread baking and the topping of chopped cranberries and nuts (I use pecans) will be a lovely addition. Enjoy baking with your summer.

Love at this “most wonderful time of the year”,

      Hi Diney!

Thank you for the recipe! I made them! Summer had a cold so won’t be here until today. I am saving some cooking for her to help with!

Cindy, you have a busy week ahead with Miss Summer. My favorite memories are baking with my grandmother and I often make and share many of her recipes. Thank you kindly for sharing the post! The recipe I used is from the blog Finding Zest, I just put my own spin on it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Portabello Design! That tree stopped me in my tracks when I saw it on Instagram.

Johnny Was has so many amazing pieces and that tunic is fabulous. I spotted a jacket/coat there last week that Elizabeth/Contessa would look amazing in.

Not sure how I missed Poms, I will check it out.

Thank you again and have a wonderful Christmas with your sweet Summer and the rest of your beautiful family.

      POMS IS A DELIGHTFUL MOVIE!
NO BAKING FOR ME AS I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO EATS IT AND I’m GLUTEN FREE!!!!!!

Love your favorites this week. I adore Diane Keaton! I am definitely seeing Poms!
And I can attest the cranberry walnut bread is the bomb! My SIL makes a loaf for us every year. I love taking a big slice , adding a big chunk of Kerrygold buttah (a joke around here) and stick it under the broiler for a few seconds. Yum! To die for!
    Merry Christmas Cindy!

      Hi Leslie

I checked both my mobile and my laptop and they both worked. I would try clearing your cache. That may be the problem. I always appreciate the alert. If anyone else is having a problem, please let me know.

      Happy Holidays!, Cindy
