It’s the last Thursday of the month so it is time for Ageless Style. Elizabeth ( the Vintage Contessa) and I each interview someone over 50 who we think has great style. This month I am so pleased to welcome Cathy Williamson from the Middle Page. Cathy is a red-haired beauty with a style all her own. She loves jeans, will dress up a classic blazer with her own signature style, and considers leopard a neutral. She is a breast cancer survivor, mom, and grandmother. Welcome to Ageless Style -Kathy Williamson.
How would you describe your style?
I think I have finally figured it out and it is classic with a twist.
Do you have a style muse?
I don’t have one in particular, but I think I resonate most with Jennifer Aniston’s everyday style.
What is your favorite accessory?
Always a smile!
What are your favorite color combinations?
Leopard print and any color!
Do you have a signature piece that defines your style?
I would have to say a blazer.
What are your favorite beauty products and why can’t you live without them?
My favorites are: Augustinus Bader Rich Cream because I can really tell a difference in my skin. I cannot live without Colleen Rothschild’s eye serum. I have super dry skin under my eyes and this has been a game-changer for me. Kopari Beauty deodorant and lip gloss are two other products that I will not be without.
Do you have any style rules that you live by, or do you break the rules?
I don’t really live by style rules. I think they are so passe!
What are your favorite online or boutique sources?
I love Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Veronica Beard, Zara, Shopbop, Net- A- Porter, Frame, and Tootsies in Dallas
Do you have a particular diet and or exercise regime that you follow?
I eat fairly clean although I probably get more sugar than I should. I don’t eat intentional desserts, but sugar is in EVERYTHING! I do weight training, but I am embarrassed to say that I don’t do much more than that!
Do you have any anti-aging foods or supplements that are your go tos?
I really think eating clean and giving up gluten and dairy has helped me feel better. I take Ritual vitamins, turmeric, and a probiotic daily.
What advice do you have for women over 50?
LIve your best life! Do what you love and don’t miss out on anything!

Well, I just subscribed to Cathy’s blog. Love her style and love of beauty. Congratulations on being a breast cancer survivor. Love your take on grabbing life and living it to the hilt. Of course you are a Texan. Everything is bigger and bolder in Texas. You’re truly a beauty both inside and out. Good find Cindy!
Hi Sandra

Karen
Hi Karen
She certainly is inspiring isn’t she? Love her style!
I really enjoy the sharing of other women’s style and their blogs. I have to admit that I used to love animal prints (minus reptiles as I detest snakes), but with the over saturated use of them lately, I have put mine on hold until they are not so popular. It pains me to see so much cheap renditions on fast fashion.
I also enjoy the various blog subjects you cover.
Hi Lucretia
What you are sharing is very true. I love leopard but there is a lot of very bad leopard out there sadly!
I just love Cathy’s style. So classic AND fun!
