This wonderful home from Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, photographed by the talented Emily Followill, and designed by the amazing Jackye Lanham has my hear and soul. Love the beautiful stonework and timeless interiors. If I were young again with a lot of disposable income (ha ha) this house would tick all of my boxes!
Outfits of the Week
These mix and match separates from Tahari on Nordstrom Rack would be so versatile for travel, and you can’t beat the prices!! I have the green. Some reviewers complained about shrinkage (so take that into account if you throw everything in the dryer). I personally wash everything in cold water and hang to dry. Shop Outfits of the Week
Simple Weekday Sole Recipe
Sole is still relatively inexpensive, and you can buy it in bulk at Costco and freeze. We buy it at our local fish market, or farmers market. It is part of our regular every other week rotation. I don’t use a recipe, but this recipe from What Gaby’s cooking is basically the same. I often sprinkle the top with 1/4 cup of almonds.
Things I am trying
I will continue to share products that I am gifted on ShopMy. I will only share those products that I feel are worthwhile. This week I am trying several new products including a detox meal program from Sakura (that they gifted me).
I am struggling with my weight currently so I was anxious to give this a try! It may be pricey, but I have to say every single item they sent looks fresh and delicious, and there won’t be any waste. I cannot wait to try it tomorrow!
This eye serum from Beauty Bio (is not on their site currently) I am not sure why since they just gifted it to me. I really like this eye serum. I use it in the morning before makeup. It is very soothing and cooling and helps with puffy eyes!
Our Little Swimmer
Summer took 6.5 seconds off her breastroke at her conference meet and bettered her free style by a second. You can tell by the proud face!!

Summer is a happy kid! That is why she is so much fun to be around! She hadn’t swam the breast all season I don’t think!
I have a great chair that I bought at an antique mall 20 yeas ago so it was old when I bought it. I had it repaired recently and re-upholstered in leopard fabric . It’s just beautiful and one of a kind. It was expensive but worth every penny. You can’t buy chairs like it any more.

I am 70, and also struggling with my weight….ugh. I’m having “slow” success, but success nevertheless, with avoiding carbs and sugar (no news there), AND not eating after 530. I know this doesn’t work for everyone’s schedule, but my doctor suggested this. I eat my dinner around 5 and sometimes my husband is ready to eat then and sometimes not. If he is eating later, I will sit down with him and have some iced tea. As inconvenient as this has been at times, it seems to make a difference. Good luck!

Yes that is exactly what works for me as well. I am not a snacker, and we usually eat early, but not always!! I find intermittent fasting works well for me too. If I skip breakfast or eat around 10:30 that helps too. My success is slow too. My problem is I sit at my computer too much!

Gorgeous picture of Summer the champion!! My daughter swam for her school for years as a middle schooler and at high school and it was such a positive wonderful experience l was very grateful as a parent. Lovely outfits and the house is just something else. I am really in to neutrals both in what l wear and in my interior just find it very calming. Happy week xo

Summer loves all sports but really isn’t a champion at anything at this age, which I think is just fine! She enjoys them all! My kids were swimmers and water polo players. I know my daughter is hoping she will like water polo!
I, too, am struggling with my weight. I am 74 yrs old and 20 lbs crept up on me over the past year. Almost all my clothes are snug and I find myself wearing the same things over and over. I am trying to stay motivated to eat high protein, real food, but this is a real struggle for me, especially since my husband and I love to try different foods and he eats what he wants and never gains weight!. I need to do this so I can wear my clothes! I’m interested in following your weight loss journey. Please keep us in that loop! Sending you positive vibes!

I have no interest in sweets but love carbs! If I can stick to no carbs at dinner and do sort of an intermittent fasting thing. I can lose weight….BUT we love to eat and drink wine!!
Hurrah for Summer.! And as you said, the smile says it all.
Our oldest son was a breast stroker all the way through high school. The sport offers individual incentive as well as the fun of contributing to relays for the team.
Love the Nordstrom Rack offerings. We’ll be travelling to “hot weather” soon and will be choosing one for the trip. Wish I could wear the green!

My kids were swimmers too, and they loved waterpolo. Summer has a great group of friends that seem to lov all sports. She will pick her favorites when she gets older I am sure!
Great post — now if only I could find a similar outfit based on navy (not black) pieces. I love hanging clothes, etc., out to dry. They smell so fresh. Pre0portioned, packaged items make our lives easier, but really, think of the waste! If companies had to take back all their plastic containers, they’d find an alternative material, I’m sure. Yes that is what bothers me about pre packaged meals as well-the waste. We do recycle everything. This company did not over package things and the meals were honestly delicious for anyone wanting to give them a try. Steve and I both ate one of their salads last night and they were both delicious. Seriously, like something I would order at a nice restaurant.
I love the black and white embroidered pants- darn they are out of my size… I thought they would be perfect for our South Pacific islands cruise!! They are so cute!
