Happy Sunday from Indiana. Today, as usual, I am sharing five things that caught my eye this week with Most Lovely Things and Classic Casual Home. Let’s take a look at Sunday Fab Five- Sundance- Lauren Liess and More.
ONE-LAUREN LIESS-PRETTY BEFORE AND AFTERS
Do you read Lauren Liess’s blog and follow her on Instagram? She shared a couple of her recent before and afters. I love the mix of different styles in this room and the juxtaposition of the old and new.
And this charming kitchen
Lauren’s books Down to Earth, and Habitat are two of my favorites. I think a third may be in the works!
TWO-SFERRA CELINE THROW-NORDSTROM SALE
Don’t forget today is the last day for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can check out my picks in my post. I just noticed that my Sferra throws that I have in my family room are included in the sale. They are super soft, come in several colors, and are great for year-round comfort.
THREE-NY TIMES MARK BITTMAN CORN SALAD
Corn is at it’s best right now. I feel like I could eat it morning noon and night. Wait, maybe I do. If we find good corn we cook five or six ears. We usually eat it for dinner that night, the next day I will add it to a salad, with fresh peaches and feta cheese, and on the weekend I will add some to an egg scramble with tomato and feta. I subscribe to New York Times Cooking and this week it was all about corn here. I am going to add this Mark Bittman corn salad to my rotation.
FOUR-POIGNANT POST ABOUT GRIEF
Leslie from Gwen Moss Blog is such a gifted writer. She lost her son over a year ago and has written often about dealing with the grief. This post will be helpful to those that are struggling that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The Face you See in the Mirror is powerful and well written even if you aren’t suffering. Leslie also pulls off inspiring DYI projects in her LOVELY home.
FIVE-DREAM WEAVER TOTE FROM SUNDANCE
I have tried to carry a smaller bag but most of the time I need something big enough to tote my computer. I am IN LOVE with this DREAM WEAVER TOTE from Sundance Catalog. Love the fact that it is big enough, can be worn cross-body, and is textural and interesting.
We are going to explore Indianapolis and hop on a plane home. Thank you for reading Sunday Fab Five-Sundance-Lauren Liess-and more. Now pop over to Classic Casual Home, and Most Lovely Things to see what they are sharing.

We will never leave California permanently, and we aren’t leaving now for sure. The timing ad a few other things did not make sense.

Hi Pal
The corn salad will be so much better there because you all can get such good corn. We won’t be neighbors for now.

Hi Elle
Leslie and I have yet to meet in person but I know I would adore her. You will love her blog. It is very special.

Cindy once again you have reminded me of why I just love you so much. It’s not just your artistic talents as a designer and the fact that I love everything you wear—that brings me to your blog. You’re just so damn kind. Thank you so much for the lovely shout out for my post. And I really do appreciate more than you know, your encouraging and uplifting comment on my blog. This Covid social distancing is really pissing me off because it’s keeping us from meeting face to face. Sending you a big hug

I’ve tried without success to get to the corn salad recipe, even subscribed to Mark’s blog and can’t find it. It looks wonderful and I have fresh corn…
