Happy Sunday everyone. Welcome to our Sunday Favorites. Today let’s talk about Roast Chicken, Lenny Kravitz & More. I know it sounds like an odd combination, read on.
LENNY KRAVITZ FOR CB2
Lenny Kravitz oh so cool collection for cb2
I love this new collaboration of Lenny and CB2. Some of it might be a little too modern for my personal taste but it just oozes Lenny if you love the look. Some of the small decor pieces are very interesting.
OUTFIT OF THE WEEK
Many of you have asked for extended sizing and sweaters that aren’t wool. I love this new sweater from J Jill which fills both requests. Also, the land’s end vest (long enough to cover the bum) is on sale. I am still loving the cozy-chic leggings. I bought these booties from Gentle Souls and I am thrilled with them. The leather is soft and the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my bunion but still looks sleek. These are winners! Accessories from BR, hat from Gigi Pip. All items linked below graphic
HOWARD BACKEN LOVE
If you have been reading this blog long you know I am absolutely enamored of Howard Backen’s work. His book From the Land is one of our family’s favorites. There isn’t much on his website so I am thinking there may be another book in the works. I spotted these images from story of eve of the Hoopes Vineyard House. You can find all of Backen Gilliam’s work on their website here. You can read more about the Hoopes Vineyard here.
TODAY SHOW’S 18 EASY ROAST CHICKEN RECIPES FOR FALL

ON NEVER BEING 18 AGAIN
I got a kick out of this post from Always in Fashion. I thought you might too.
Thanks for reading Roast Chicken, Lenny Kravitz & More. If you missed any of my other Sunday Favorites you can find them here. I am off to get the house in order for a certain other bloggers’ b-day party on Tuesday. What do you have on your agenda?
Now pop over and visit my pals to see what they are up to.
Cindy, I have never ordered product with a link to ablog post untilI saw this one. The olive/ leopard scraf andthe bone bracelet spoke to me and I answered. May thanks for yor suggestions!
Hi Di
Thank you so much for using my link. I think those Banana pieces are so good, and who doesn’t need another leopard scarf!!
Hi Cindy,
You always share the best items. I have gotten spoiled by the Costco Roasted Chicken but this recipe is tempting. I also love the scarf and sweter. I’m happy to be able to wear sweaters and scarves again.
xo,
Karen
Hi Karen
I do like the Costco roasted chicken too! I will be happy to wear scarves and sweaters as well. It looks like this week we will be able to!!
I’ve been making Ina Garten’s Chicken recipe for years, it is pretty perfect. The only thing I do differently, is I raise the skin and place slices of butter, then thinly sliced lemon under the skin. so that is looks more like the chicken Meryl Streep did in Heartburn- in the most perfect picnic scene of all time.
Hi Beth
Absolutely agree about the Ina chicken recipe. I kind of combine her two recipes the one with the brick and the grilled version. Her recipes never disappoint!
Cindy, so many great finds. I love the outfit of the week, the chicken recipes and the CB2 collaboration. Have a wonderful week.
Hi Elizabeth
Thank you so much Eliz I always love your Friday favorites. They are always so much fun!
I’ll take that Volkswagen that Lenny is resting against! I really miss my old Bugs. Sob! It was the first new car I bought with my own money, a 68 with a semi automatic transmission. No clutch. Had many over the years, but the new ones don’t do much for me. At least I got to have some. They were fun to drive.
Hi Gayle
We had a bug when I was in grade school and my daughter had a bug in high school. Lenny just looks oh so cool standing next to it doesn’t he?
LOVE your blog information….and it’s always the first one I read…but the link to Always in Fashion does not go anywhere…thanks.
Hi Joan
Thank you for the heads up. It is fixed!
Love the sweater and now it is on my wish list. Just need to decide on a color. Will be trying the “Perfect Chicken” soon. Enjoyed this post.
Hi Candy
I think that sweater is great and it isn’t wool! I am not personally allergic but many readers are.
Lenny Kravitz is talented. Love the barstools he did for CB2. That chicken looks amazing. Perfect for a Sunday night. Pinning right now. Can’t wait to see you!!!
I like those barstools too Mary Ann and several of the accessories. He is one talented guy that is for sure.
Roasting chicken is in the fridge for tonight. Ina’s recipe is my go-to but I am inspired by all these “up a notch” recipes and once again the Outfit of the Week has me saying, “Oooo – I want that, and that, and that .,,”. Happy Autumn!
