I know you all are doing last minute Christmas shopping and running around like maniacs. Take a minute and read this post. This shirt, (Planet Artists Smock) is the shirt that led me to Artful Home and my collaboration with them. I think when I pinned it, it got repinned so many times they decided they needed to check me out. I didn’t order it, I have to be honest. #1 it is pricey and #2 it only comes in two sizes and I was afraid it would be too big. When Artful Home asked me to choose my items this time I hesitated. Their customer service expert, Jane is amazing. She knows me now and she will say ” I don’t think that will work for you”, and she is usually right. That is what sets Artful Home in a class by itself. It is a small company. Customer Service is important to them. Jane gets to know their clients and she KNOWS the products. So if you are thinking about ordering something but you are reluctant…call Jane. I have never been able to get that shirt off my mind. It always looks fabulous on the models. I know they are models!
Jane said the only complaint they get about the shirt is that it has a lot of fabric. I am not a teeny person by any means but I normally wear an XS or S in most of their line. I took the plunge and I ordered it. It is my new best friend. It is crisp, and has a beautiful cut that I think would be flattering on any figure.
I love that the collar can be worn up or down. The buttons are hidden so you have a lot of options for accessorizing. Please ignore the windblown hair. It was windy and COLD the day the pictures were taken. The photos were taken at the Barnyard Artists Studios in Carmel. I will be doing a full post on this wonderful resource after the first.
I am wearing the French Sole Calf Hair Smoking Flat from a couple years ago. You can find similar ones here. I am wearing the French Kande lourdes chain bracelet with the cross medallion and some sterling bangles I have had for years. I am also wearing a French Kande necklace (similar here). I wore this shirt Thanksgiving Day and it was still crisp and fresh at the end of the day. I think it would be fabulous for New Years dressed up with a little bling.

Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thank you
