How to Decorate for Christmas Using Organic Materials Part Two

I am back today to finish my home tour due to a computer glitch. I didn’t intend to drag this out! Thanks for bearing with me! I really loved adding a bit of red to my dining room this year. I have always kept it more neutral in the past. I love decorating with organic materials whenever I can.

This Santo gets decked out a little differently every year. This year less is more.

The cockscomb wreath was a find from Target last year.

I always like to add a little greenery to compliment my paintings by Pat Huber.

My tree looks pretty much the same every year. We have ornaments that we have collected for over 40 years. I did abbreviate the decorations (aka I ran out of energy) this year and only hung about 1/2 of them.

I wrapped everything in kraft paper and black and white this year and added green, and rust ribbons.

I kept the mantle in the family room simple this year as well. I added greens, osage oranges and lemons to the architectural items already on the mantle.

  1. Everything looks so incredibly pretty, I think we have much the same decorating styles, your ideas are much the same as mine, as organic and natural as possible, but still with some bling on the tree with ornaments we have collected over many years.
