I don’t know about you but my tablescapes (we will have four) are still in the works. I am heading to town to pick up some fresh flowers to add to what I have available in my yard (not much). So if you need some last-minute inspiration I am sharing some of my favorites and some of my past incarnations. You can make your table feel festive with just a little simple styling with your favorite dinnerware and foraged flora. Any one of these could be tweaked just a bit for a pretty Xmas table as well. Here are Ten Last Minute Tablescapes You Can Copy
FYI, one advantage of doing your thanksgiving table at the last minute, almost everything you need is on sale!
This tablescape that I created last year (I believe) is one of my all-time favorites. Similar napkins from Pottery Barn are on sale and still available.
Everything you need to pull off this charming vignette from my Domaine by Kara Rosenlund,is a few feathers, nuts, and some olive twigs.
Love the polka dot napkins and the simple name-place tags on this beautiful tablescape from White Buffalo Styling.
I created this one several years back when we still had our pool table. Steve cut a piece of plyboard to cover the pool table, I covered it with a burlap table skirt available inexpensively on Amazon and linked at the bottom of this post, and layered it with a cowhide rug and various wicker bottles.
If you already own velvet pumpkins this tablescape from Decor Gold would be pretty simple to pull together.
Grab a few plants from the nursery and add mini pumpkins and moss and this one will be ready in a jiffy. Love this color combination unknown image capture.
My pal Mary Ann from Classic Casual Home is the entertainer extraordinaire. This is another pretty unexpected color combination that I love!
Annie from Most Lovely Things always comes up with a clever place tag idea. I think I might even be able to make this one, or maybe not.
And finally, this pretty tablescape from House Tweaking features simple eucalyptus and pumpkins with a gorgeous navy block print runner.
I hope these inspiring tablescapes will help you out if you are working on yours last minute like me! You might also enjoy:

I’m loving everything, Cindy, as I always. The flowers are gorgeously a part of your tables and I always find that to be a true blessing. And the pool table idea!! Maybe I can sneak in something like this over my hubby’s Civil War shelving. 😉
Thanks for the inspo! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Cindy,
Thank you for these fun tips. I fortunately live on one Lafayette’s unLANDSCAPED acres. It used to be an old dairy farm. Barb (we say Bob wire)wire was still ingrown into the oak trees when we built here. So it’s a treasure trove of lichen branches, eucalyptus trees drip in coin shaped leaves as well as the long skinny leaves. So just saying if you add these branches as fillers to any Trader Joe flower selections, you can fill a table with volume. I loved the dinner plate with accents of cloves as a design element. Keep them coming. It might be fun to share our table scapes here although mine is just simple but a joy to put together. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL. Rae

Great ideas, and I really like the setting you did on your pool table – just wondering if anyone spilled gravy on the wonderful rug?? A good idea that I’ve used a number of times is a painter’s drop cloth from the hardware store. They come in various sizes and are usually a neutral burlap color. Much cheaper than buying fabric so I don’t feel guilty about tossing them out if they get stained.

Hi Cynthia
Ha! Believe it or not cowhide is almost like an indoor outdoor fabric…it is almost impossible to stain! I need to try the painters dropcloth. I always for get about that! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
