Farmers Union Pour House Update

Sorry for my absence from blogging.  We have been busy! My son and daughter in law have been working like crazy to get the Pour House open soon.  The sheetrock is finally done so we are finishing the painting this weekend. Beau loved being downtown where he could greet all the passersby.

Here is the color pallett.  The ceilings are very high and some of the ducting etc. will be exposed so the idea is for it to disappear.  It is painted chalk stripe by Ralph Lauren as are the front doors.

The two small walls at the entrance and the back left wall are painted Spinach Dip by Behr for a pop of color. The hallways and baths will be painted greywood by Behr.
In a prior post I gave you a tutorial on how to age wood with concrete in four simple steps here
Here is what the wall looks like now with the brick and the green walls.
Here are the backs of the banquette that will be in the front on either side of the door. Fred from Ace Upholstery performed his magic on these. Yvonne from Soft Accents is constructing french cushions in the same sunbrella ticking for the seats.

If you follow me on instagram you saw this very cool arch that will soon adorn one of the old brick walls

These fabulous doors from the warehouse will be placed behind each of the tall bar tables.  Don’t you love the “patina”?

We are getting down to the fun stuff! Sorry for my lack of posts.  Follow me on instagram here to see what I am currently up to.  I am headed to the sf design center today!

Love the arch! Perhaps it could be hung above a chalkboard? And maybe lighted underneath — so guests could see the outlines and the chalkboard?
