I meant to post on Thanksgiving but between my mother taking a turn for the worse, a pack of dogs attacking and killing a neighbor cat, and having 22 people for Thanksgiving I did not get the job done.
Here are a few snippets from our day. Once again I crafted the table centerpiece in my favorite vessel (a gift from one of my favorite couples Thanks Steve and Roxanne!!) Steve made this box from old fence boards and everything you put in it looks fabulous!! I love that it is long and narrow and doesn’t take up too much space on the table. You can see it here (done by Roxanne) and here all decked out for Spring.day.
I had a few garden roses and hydrangeas in my yard and I foraged the rest!! This centerpiece could be easily modified for Christmas by subtracting the leaves and roses and adding seasonal greens.
The faux deer horn napkin rings were from PB last year as well as the faux pewter chargers. They have some similar antique silver ones this year here that are really pretty but pricier.
You can find the printables here http://www.blesserhouse.com/2015/11/6-thanksgiving-tablescape-ideas-bwt-5.html
Last year I invested in a 48” fold up table from Amazon. It has proven to be one of the smartest purchases I have made. I threw on a burlap table skirt and layered it with one of my throws.
We used the same nametags, woven chargers from Pier 1, and my Wedgewood plates that I have had forever. The napkin rings were a gift from my sister in law (over 20 years ago) from Cost Plus. The goblets are also inexpensive ones also purchased years ago at Cost Plus (World Market).
The napkins are also World Market from a couple of years ago. I wish I had bought more of them. I love the color! The bark pot is from Michaels. Most of the flowers are from my yard or my neighbor’s. I purchased the delphinium.
Whenever we have a gathering of over 15 we use our pool table. My husband puts a piece of ply board over the top and we either cover it with quilts or a burlap table cloth. This year I layered the burlap tablecloth with a piece of Indian hand block print fabric (soon to be made into pillows) and a vintage indigo throw from Africa.
My intention was to take more pictures. My tables were really at their prettiest this year but our crazy life got in the way once again. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are enjoyed your time with your families!

Cindy,
I'm a week behind on everything and I haven't even been blogging. Your tables are spectacular. I am always inspired by your creativity and I love the fact that you share sources and they are actually affordable. The push is on for Christmas, I hope to be caught up by December 15th or so! lol By the way, my inspiration this year for decor is the home you shared last year with all the natural elements. I'm keeping it simple.
Have a wonderful December.
xo,
Karen

Good grief, I hope things are better over there including your mom. I adore your Wedgwood plates and want them really bad. Best, Mary Beth
Cindy says
Hi Marybeth! Funny I have thought about selling them off and on. I don't use them that much anymore. We no longer have any horses. They are pretty though aren't they? Thanks for stopping by!!

Cindy,
How horrible that dog experience must have been! Awful. And I hope your mother is okay now. It is so hard when things like that happen during the holidays.
Hope your Thanksgiving was good in spite of all that! Your tables were gorgeous, as always! And that box! I want one. Perfect for a tablescape year round as you can change it to suit anything.
And I want to join the Link Party on the 16th!! Can't wait…
