Great Regional Magazines…Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, Peter Block and Joel Kelly

On the West Coast, we tend to be more focused on National Publications.  In the wake of so many of the national shelter magazines disappearing I want to focus on some of the great regional publications. So many are going strong and delivering just as much punch if not more than their national counterparts.  My first feature and one of my favorites is Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles.  Whenever I receive the most recent issue in my box I am never disappointed. The latest issue features the architect Peter Block designed Buckhead home that received the grand Shutze Award. The beautiful interiors are by Joel Kelly.
Love the lime washed brick exterior with the charcoal trim

Crazy about the ivory walls, touches of black, and just a hint of red….

Simple black rods and long linen curtains provide a beautiful framework for this lovely dining area

Love the use of the simple green bottles on the table…They echo the green on the outside allowing it to be the star rather than overpowering.

The Soothing neutral palette, and again a touch of black, make this master suite welcoming and warm

Love the whitewashed oak cabinetry with the simple black knobs

This niche makes great use of the Restoration Hardware bed with the simple linen-covered side tables

Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles regularly features the work of the likes of Peter Block and Beth Webb two of my favorites that never disappoint.  Joel Kelly caught my eye this month. His work has been published in Veranda, Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, and Home and Garden.  Here is more of the house at Tuxedo Hills if you couldn’t get enough.

Block & Chisel cabinetry and a Waterworks tub rest on herringbone floors in the master bathroom.

I am not supported in any way by Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles.  I just simply love the magazine.  If you would like to subscribe click on Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles. You will get twelve issues that you will devour from cover to cover.

Cindy, I have often picked up Atlanta Homes and like it a lot. I also subscribe to Southern Living.. My other favorite is the Canadian pub House & Home. These are all gorgeous. Love everything. That library is beautiful with the wood..

I'm very much a fan of neutrals as they create such a calming feel to a room. There's always the opportunity to add colour with accessories too. I particularly like those tan coloured cushions which are so autumnal.

That has always been one of my favorite magazines! This house in particular is stunning! I love everything about it and wouldn't mind moving right into it just like it is! Thanks for sharing it!

I don't subscribe to Atlanta Homes, but I every time I see some of their images posted on a blog, I love what I see! This feature is no exception.
