I am always on the lookout for pretty gray separates. At my age, a column of color or neutral is more flattering than a lot of pattern. Heather gray always compliments gray hair if you are a member of the gray camp. Emmy Lou Harris knows how to rock an all-gray look. You rarely see her in much pattern.
Clockwise from left to right. Peruvian Connection makes the best layering t-neck (the extreme t-neck) in my mind. It isn’t too thin, has just the right amount of stretch and way outlasts any other I have found and it comes in six colors! I love the Madewell Medium Transport Tote, it is simple, has a crossbody strap and is big enough to hold your laptop. This sweater from Banana is soft as cashmere and has a flattering fit. I am a big fan of the j crew stretch perfect shirt. It can be tucked in jeans without looking sloppy. I love This VSR necklace and earrings. The necklace can be worn with an open neck or with a sweater and looks great. The cross earrings add a little bit of sparkle. These J Crew velvet toothpick jeans can be dressed up or down a must for the upcoming holiday season. Another J Crew fav is these leopard smoking slippers.
I was noticing how many images on my Fashion Over 50 fall winter board are of women my age in all black. I know, I know some of you are over it but it is still classic and sharp. From clockwise left I bought a poncho similar to this last year and wear it all the time. It is more of an investment piece but if you consider the number of wearings not so much. I included a more price friendly one in the shop the look widget below. You can’t go wrong with these classic wayfarers. They are always in style. I love these Spanx faux leather leggings they literally hold in all your assets. The leopard J Crew bag is a classic as well while the tortoise earrings are more trendy but fun. I am coveting these riding boots from Seychelles. I have had good luck with them and they seem to be pretty price friendly and comfortable. Top it off with a great cashmere & wool scarf and the extreme t neck from Peruvian Connection.
