Comfy Loungewear for the Holidays

Happy Friday Everyone!  I don’t know about you but I need to “up my game” in the “loungewear” department. When I get home after a long day I really just want to jump into some PJ’s or a pair of my not so pretty sweats.  There are so many great options for loungewear available now.  Why not slip into something comfortable and pretty!  I have admired the lantern pant by Lisa Bayne for Artful Home for quite some time. I  wasn’t sure if they would be flattering on me. Artful Home also has a dressier crepe version of this same pant that my friend Brenda Kinsel is reviewing on her blog today.  Stop by and take peek!

They come in a deep charcoal (above) and black.  For my figure (shorter and curvy), I need to wear more of a tighter fitting semi-cropped top with them for the most flattering look.  If you are taller, I am sure you could wear a looser longer top as well.  I am confident they are flattering on any figure type, and they are the comfiest pants I have ever owned.  They are made of the softest french terry.  You won’t want to take them off.

In this set curl up with one of my new favorite design books Poetry of Place by McAlpine Home.

Clockwise from top: Poetry of Place McAlpine Home, North Face Slacker Poncho, Diptyque Wood Fire Candle, Barefoot Dreams Cozy Throw, my favorite Monogram Mugs from Anthro, Now and Zen nail polish,  from Essie, the fabulous Lantern Pant from Artful Home, Ugg Ainsley (waterproof) slipper, Barefoot Dreams Travel Shawl, and one of my favorite new design books, Poetry of Place.

What to wear on Christmas morning while opening gifts? Slip on the lantern pant from Artful Home, light a holiday candle, and enjoy!

Clockwise from top, my favorite design book, An Eye for Beauty by Beth Webb, Madewell Cashmere Sweatshirt, Oh What Fun Stemless Wine Glasses, these adorable Velvet Slippers from Banana, Deborah Lippman Love Story Nail Polish, Lisa Bayne Lantern Pant (Artful Home), Nordstrom Faux Fur Throw, Illume Lux Mercury Glass Candle.

Do you need to up your loungewear game?  What’s on your wishlist for Christmas.  Please share! By the way this month’s Ageless Style Series (with the Vintage Contessa), I will be interviewing Lisa Bayne CEO of Artful Home. I can’t say enough about the quality of merchandise and the incredible customer service this company has to offer. Much of this is due to the effective management by Lisa. I have gotten to know Lisa through my collaboration with Artful Home. She leads with her head and her heart.  I know you will enjoy reading about this fabulous lady.
