I am so happy to welcome to Ageless Style-Sisters Mona and Talena from Providence Ltd. If you are close to my age and have been following bloggers for some time, you probably know the darling sisters from Arkansas Mona & Talena. Mona pens the blog Providence LTD and the two sisters have launched their blog into one of the most successful decorating businesses in Arkansas. They also have a beautiful storefront. I have followed these two dynamos from their humble beginnings as bloggers and have loved seeing their success. Even though we have not met in person, they are two of the sweetest and stylish ladies you will ever want to meet. I am so happy to be featuring them on Ageless Style. They exude positivity and Southern charm and are proof that you can do anything at any age if you choose to.
How Would You Describe Your Style?
Classic…but throw in a little fun.
Do you have a style muse?
Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana
What is your favorite accessory?
Mona…a great handbag
Talena…shoes always
What are your favorite color combinations
Mona…Black, black and black. …but like to pair it with grey and camel for Fall and Winter…Black and white for Spring and Summer
Talena…Soft pink all year long. Of course, my closet is filled with black as well.
Do you have a signature piece that defines your style?
Mona…I just have to have great black pants, skirts and sweaters…and start layering…Just like we decorate houses layer after layer.
Talena…I can’t live without a great white blouse.
What are your favorite beauty products and why can’t you live without them?
Mona…Erno Lazlo Hydra-Therapy moisture mask. It’s like an instant face lift. And a good bronzer. I use Bare Minerals.
Talena…Fresh Sugar lip products. My lips stay so dry and chapped. My daughter recently turned me on to this and I’m hooked. And Clinique Even Better light reflecting foundation. It evens out dull skin and gives you a fresh dewey look.
Do you have any style rules that you live by, or do you choose to break the rules?
We are both pretty conservative by nature but like to have fun with our clothes. Nothing makes you feel more confident than feeling great in what you are wearing whether it’s a serious occasion or a play date. It’s that one area in your life where you are completely free to express your own individual style. I think you can tell from the clothes we both choose to wear that we definitely have a playful side.
What are your favorite online and or boutique sources?
Neither of us shops online for clothes very much because we just have to try things on. We love to shop at small local boutiques in Little Rock and when we travel as well. But we do love Anthropologie.
Do you have a particular diet and or exercise regime that you follow?
We wish. LOL We both gravitate to low carb when we feel the waistline inching up. Building our business has taken a tremendous amount of time and a toll on our personal lives, but that is changing in 2019. We both agree we have to make ourselves more of a priority. So exercise that includes personal training and a diet that focuses more on fresh is best is becoming our new normal. And our plans include having just more good old fun. We love our work but are going to be tipping the scales toward more balance in our lives.
Do you have any anti-aging foods and or supplements that are your go to’s?
We both started adding Bulletproof vanilla collagen protein and MCT oil to our coffee every morning. The energy boost is great and the benefits for our hair and skin can’t be denied. We also take a daily biotin for our thin, fine hair. It really helps.
What advice do you have for women over 50?
Mona…Don’t take yourself too seriously. Don’t get so focused on work and the harder things in life that you factor out fun. It’s really good medicine.
Talena…Family first. You will never look back and regret that decision.

What fun to share sister style with us! I never had a sister so I lived vicariously through this interview with Mona and Talena. I was also fascinated to hear about them having a business together. I have daughters who have a storefront business and i love watching them blend their talents. Thanks so much Cindy for these Ageless Style posts!
They are so cute! How wonderful to have a sister! The shot of them on the bench, wineglasses in hand, heads bent toward each other is just the sweetest. It is so refreshing to see genuine love like that.

Oh, these delightful women remind me of me and my sister. What fun you have together and look great doing it. Both so talented and beautiful. How fun to work together. I’m going to try that Clinique foundation, I already use the Fresh lip products. I’m a little familiar with Arkansas because of a cookbook author. so I know it’s beautiful country and obviously you both make it even prettier. I looked at your blog and saw some before and afters. I have always followed them and admire their work, but more so their seemingly undying love for each other….I say seemingly only because I don’t know them personally, but I believe it would show otherwise were it not true! It absolutely radiates that they respect and admire each other. I wish you had asked what it is that they disagree with the most in regard to design and decor. Perhaps they will answer! I think their style and design work has evolved with the times and remains current. Flawless is the only term I find appropriate when looking at the room where they stand in their LBDs and pearls! They are both so pretty and cute. And Cindy, I like your questions. They are actually things we gals in this age range want to know. On another subject, I notice that your blog post today is chock-full of ADS. Is there away to avoid this? I’ve never noticed it before on your blog and it’s really annoying to have to scroll past ads for apple cider vinegar, “mattresses for seniors,” and shoes for plantar fasciitis.
